Netherlee and Stamperland Churches has been active in the Clarkston and District Christian Aid work over many years.  This is an inter-denominational group involving the congregations of seven local churches.

TURKEY AND SYRIA EARTHQUAKE APPEAL

On Monday 6th February, an magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit in southern Turkey

close to the border with northern Syria. A second 7.5-magnitude earthquake

struck 9 hours later, with aftershocks following.

CLARKSTON ART SHOW

The Clarkston and District Christian Aid Committee organise various events in the area including raising funds during Christian Aid Week in May through door-to-door collections, an annual sponsored swimming event and, most noteably, the Christian Aid Art Show which provides the opportunity to purchase paintings by notable local artists. 

Our 2023 Art Show - our 42nd annual show - was held in Clarkston Halls on  

Friday 17th March and Saturday 18th March.  Over £5,000 was raised.
